What activities will I be getting up to? Be Epic (phase 1): We make sure there is a good mix of water based and land based activities for everyone to enjoy and, at Wimbleball lake this year, you’ll be enjoying activities such as kayaking, paddleboarding, high ropes, expeditions, archery, team building, among many more. Live Life (phase 2): As part of the independent living focus, part of the activities to enjoy and learn from is to feed yourselves for the week. Each team will be provided with a money float or card budget to shop and cook for themselves for the entire week. Teams will discuss individual dietary requirements, put together a menu plan for the week and then devise a shopping list before heading off to the nearest supermarket for their weekly food shop. At South West Lakes Trust we look to provide a week full of exciting activities for you to enjoy and benefit from and, whilst timetables aren’t completely finished at this time, the sort of sessions/workshops you can expect are: Going plastic-free, making politics fun, your natural environment and how it affects you, how to deliver a worthwhile community project, introducing healthier ways to live… among many, many more!
