The following race report is from Alan Smith, our Senior Ranger at Tamar Lakes:

Wow! What a great day of running, marshalling and supporting the Tamar Lake 8km.

It was great to see so many people joining in and smiling as they crossed the finish line. Special thanks to our awesome sponsors and marshals who help us make the event possible - HPT Sport, SCOOP ice cream, Bude RATs, The Split Bean, Omega Medical, James Finley for professional photography and South West Lakes Trust.

The women’s category saw some very strong running with first place going to Claire Strong, second going to Laura Eccott and third to Charlene Howard.

For the men's category, Anthony Jarvis earned first place with a rapid time of 30.28, second place going to Dan Parkin and third to Thomas Baseford.
