How does it work?

We offer several different options to help you tailor your Friendship with South West Lakes Trust. From the three different levels of support below, you can choose either single or joint options:

  • Supporter Friend – from £15 per year. Support our charitable work which includes caring for the natural and historic environments around our lakes; providing public access and recreational opportunities for our communities; and provision of educational activity.
  • Local Friend – from £37 per year. Support our charitable work and enjoy year-round parking at one lake of your choice.
  • Regional Friend – from £40 per year. Support our charitable work and enjoy year-round parking at all South West Lakes Trust car parks.

You can pay by direct debit, or make a single payment for one year’s Friendship.

Whether you join us to help support the upkeep of your favourite walk, to help further our conservation work so that nature can thrive, or to enable more people to experience the health-giving benefits of our lakes, we really value your continued support, helping us to protect these special places for people and wildlife for generations to come.

Benefits of being a Friend:

  • Exclusive newsletters sharing updates, fundraising, events and more
  • Opportunities to share feedback on our work and join a community who play a vital role in protecting our lakes for the future
  • Car parking at one or all of our lakes (when choosing either ‘Local’ or ‘Regional’ Friendship).
