Join charity South West Lakes Trust for a day of fun games, watersports, nature activities and entertainment for the whole family in the picturesque setting of Roadford Lake.

The recreation and environment charity will be hosting a Summer Fair at Roadford Lake, near Okehampton, from 11am to 4pm on Sunday 5 July 2026. Entry and car parking are free, no booking required.   

Take family and friends along to explore all this beautiful countryside location has to offer, with loads to entertain the youngsters including games, fly fishing lessons and a wildlife trail. There will also be the opportunity to have an adventure on the water, with paddleboards and kayaks available to hire, so be prepared to make a splash!

For those wanting a slower pace by the water, relax and enjoy local food and drink from Roadford Lake Café or peruse craft and trade stalls, with work from local artists, woodworkers and boutique clothing brands on offer.

South West Lakes Trust is also running a celebratory Art Competition which is free to enter on the day, visit the exhibition to take part.
