Reptile and Butterfly Survey Day at College Reservoir

We invite you to College Reservoir for an exciting day of wildlife surveying on Friday 17 July. Whether you're passionate about conservation or simply love exploring nature, this event is a great way to make a positive impact.

Event Details

• Date: Friday 17 July 2026
• Time: 9am to 2pm (end time may vary)
• Meeting Point: Argal car park (pay and display). We will be walking from Argal car park round to College Reservoir. 

What You'll Be Doing

During the event, we will be walking around the reservoirs to carry out a butterfly survey and check reptile refugia mats along the way. This hands-on activity will help us record species data essential for monitoring the site and creating improved management plans. The recorded data will be uploaded to iRecord and shared with the Local Environment Record Centre to contribute to regional conservation efforts.
