Burrator Trout Fishing Taster Day

Discover the joy of fly-fishing

Join us at the picturesque Burrator Reservoir on Sunday 26 July and learn the art of fly-fishing. Book a ‘have a go' session with local and experienced guides. 

We would like to extend a warm welcome to all new beginners to our sport, and of course any established anglers who would like to come along.

• Date and time: Open from 9am to 3pm (tuition sessions bookable from 9am to 2pm)
• Location: Burrator Reservoir
• Activities:
  • Fishing lessons with experienced guides
  • Fly-tying demonstrations
  • Learn useful tips and tricks from the pros
• Facilities: Toilets available on-site

What to bring

To make the most of your day, bring the following:

• Wellies or old footwear (as it may be muddy)
• A packed lunch. Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided
• Your own equipment if desired (equipment is available on the day)
