NCS is a once in a life-time, nationwide, government funded experience for young people between the ages of 16 and 17 to enjoy during their summer holidays that takes place over either 3 or 4 exciting weeks. The Burrator Wildlife Guide is a brand new 40 page booklet, created and launched by three South West Lakes Trust volunteers. Containing information on 109 species found around Burrator Reservoir, the guide will help visitors identify and appreciate the rich wildlife of Burrator. Read more

South West Lakes is launching RingGo parking

South West Lakes is launching RingGo parking

From 23 September, we are rolling out RingGo, the UK’s leading cashless parking provider, at eight locations across the south west. It is hoped that introducing RingGo as an alternative payment method will encourage visitors to use this safer contactless option on their trips to the lakes. Read more

    Surrounded by the striking backdrop of Bodmin Moor, Siblyback Lake lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). There is a beautiful 5km round lake circuit, which is perfect for pushchairs, wheelchairs and bicycles. The path runs adjacent to the lake, and passes by the impressive Siblyback Dam and through woodlands.
