South West Lakes Trust Launch Membership Competition 2024

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.    COMPETITION DETAILS

1.1    By participating in this competition you are agreeing to these competition terms and conditions.
1.2    The competition is owned, organised and managed by South West Lakes Trust.
1.3    The competition will run from 26th April 2024 until 12th May 2024. Entries submitted after the final date of the competition will not be counted.
1.4    The competition is open to all members of the public over 18 years of age. 
1.5    By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to receive any prizes that may be awarded to you.
1.6    There is a limit of one entry per person and the competition is completely free to enter.
1.7    Employees and family members of employees of South West Lakes Trust are ineligible to participate in this competition.

2.    THE WINNING PRIZE & ANNOUNCEMENT

The winning prize will include:

• One year's South West Lakes Trust individual launch membership covering Roadford, Siblyback, Stithians, Tamar and Wimbleball lakes *
• Unlimited access to launch your own kayak, canoe, dinghy, windsurf, wing foil, stand up paddleboard or rowing boat on our lakes
• Free parking at all South West Lakes Trust car parks
• Access to centre facilities including showers, toilets and changing rooms
• Access to the out of hours buddy system
• Plus discounts for 10% off tuition, 10% discount at Roadford, Wimbleball and Tamar cafes, 25% off pre-booked equipment hire**, 25% off pre-booked guest self-launch**, 15% off camping across all five Activity Centre campsites, 25% off season and day fishing tickets**
• Refer a friend scheme - receive gift vouchers and money off for you and your friend
• Members events - meet our launch community

*If you have already bought your launch membership this season, we will give you one free individual launch membership next year if you win.

2.1    The winner will be chosen at random and will be announced within 2 weeks of the competition closing.
2.2    The winner will be notified via the email address provided.
2.3    South West Lakes Trust will make two attempts to contact the winner via email. If the winner does not respond to the emails informing them of their win within 14 days of the second email, they forfeit their right to the prize, and South West Lakes Trust reserves the right to select and notify a new winner. 
2.4    The prize is non-transferrable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be provided.
2.5    We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control require doing so.
2.6    South West Lakes Trust’s decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

3.    DATA PROTECTION & PUBLICITY

3.1    By entering this competition, you agree to us contacting you via email in regards to this competition, news, promotions and offers from South West Lakes Trust. Your information will not be passed on to any 3rd parties. You can opt out from receiving emails from us at any time. 
3.2    You agree that any personal information that you provide when entering the competition will be used by South West Lakes Trust for the purpose of administering the competition.
3.3    By entering the competition, you are giving permission for South West Lakes Trust to use your name in any promotional content following winning, through their website, email marketing and social media channels.

4.    GENERAL

South West Lakes Trust reserves the right, at any given time and without prior notice to change or cancel the competition and/or make amends to these terms and conditions.

South West Lakes Trust accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of participating in the competition or being selected for a prize.
