Our six-week activity club is for home educated children ages 8-14 to get a taste of everything Wimbleball has to offer - or at least everything we can fit into six weeks!

There are a number of different groups to choose from:

Buccaneers: Returning

This session is for children who have taken part in the Buccaneers programme in previous years or more than once in 2024. Participants will work towards the next level of the programme. Activities include kayaking, windsurfing, high ropes, raft building, sailing and paddleboarding. 

Buccaneers: Mixed

This session is for both new and returning Buccaneers. Activities include kayaking, windsurfing, high ropes, rafter building, sailing and paddleboarding. 

Buccaneers: New participants

For children doing the programme for the first time. Once they have completed the first level as new participants they are welcome to join our group for returning participants. Activities include kayaking, windsurfing, high ropes, rafter building, sailing and paddleboarding. 

Buccaneers: Bushcraft skills

Den building, fire lighting, water filtration, catapult building and more!

RYA courses

We also run six-week sailing and windsurfing courses for eight to 15-year-olds. These internationally recognised qualifications can be used for GCSE / BTEC modules.

The order of activities will change depending on weather conditions so always arrive prepared!
