Visiting South West Lakes during Covid-19

The lakes of the South West offer a safe space to relax and unwind or get active in the great outdoors, offering an experience that avoids close contact with other visitors during these unusual times.

We know that Covid-19 has not gone away and still maintain the following precautions to ensure your visit is safe.

Keeping you safe during your visit

  • All doors and gates are pinned open where possible.
  • We have trained our staff to be COVID-safe and carried out COVID risk assessments.
  • We have enhanced cleaning regimes in our public spaces, toilets and regular touch points.

While you are at the lakes:

  • Please wear a face covering in indoor spaces if you are able to do so and take note of our safety notices.
  • Please sanitise your hands regularly during your visit.
  • Please respect other people's space as you move around.
  • Please respect our staff, volunteer teams and other visitors.

Our spacious grounds mean that it is easy to avoid close contact with people, however our activity centres and cafes will be busier at times.

Thank you for your support and cooperation during these unusual times.  We very much look forward to welcoming you. If you have any further questions, please give us a call on 01566 771930.
