On Tuesday1 December will be joining forces with charities across the world for GiveBack2020 - a day of generosity and support for our charities and an opportunity to take something positive from 2020 and make a difference at the same time.

Giving Tuesday Now is a day in which you can join people everywhere to support the charities and good causes you believe in. For South West Lakes this means that we will be able to continue to care for your lakes, habitats and the species that call them home alongside providing access for people both on and off the water.

In 2020 many of us found solace and space at the lakes and we enjoyed the peace and wildlife. This is your opportunity to give a little back to that space and wildlife which helped us all so much during difficult times and continues to be there for us. You can help us to protect wildlife for today and tomorrow.

By making a donation you will be supporting our environmental work across the region, from high on Exmoor right down to West Cornwall. The lakes of the south west offer unique habitats and are home to diverse wildlife.  Your donation will help us to continue dormouse monitoring, manage wildflower meadows, plant more trees and protect native wildlife. These are just some of the plans we have for 2021. We believe engaging with the natural environment enables people to grow.
