19th May 2019

Come along to a dormouse survey at Roadford Lake on Sunday 19th May 2019 at 10:00-15:00. Led by South West Lakes Trust ecologist Emma Scotney, the survey is suitable for anyone who has an interest in wildlife, or in particular, dormouse ecology.

Please meet at the Roadford Lake car park, PL16 0RL/SX424899 and bring lunch. We will stop for lunch near the café, so you are welcome to buy food and hot drinks here.

If you have not been before and reminders: Roadford Lake has 150 dormouse boxes covering three different woodlands. In May, some of these dormice will be torpid which makes them easy to hold and identify. The terrain at Roadford can be uneven and steep so please ensure that you wear suitable clothing and shoes. Please bring clothing for all weather conditions.

There are only 10 places for this survey which are first come first served. UPDATE: This event is now fully booked.
