We're appealing for volunteers to help support our important conservation work in North Devon.

We're organising three habitat and wildlife volunteer days at Wistlandpound Reservoir, on the edge of Exmoor National Park, from 10am to 2pm on Wednesday 26 January, Thursday 10 February and Sunday 27 February.

Our Environment and Engagement Ranger Lucy Alford said: “Whether you want to put years of skills and experience towards helping protect our special places or just want to try something new, we’ll have opportunities to suit you!

“Suitable for all ages, including families and people completing Duke of Edinburgh awards, try your hand at one of our practical conservation tasks and help improve habitats for local wildlife. Sign up for one, two or even three days.

“We will provide all of the necessary tools and training for you to become a conservation champion and support South West Lakes’ important habitat work.”

Spaces for each task will be limited so booking is essential
