CATERING SUPERVISOR - THE ROCK HOPPER

Required to manage our newly refurbished cafe at Siblyback Lake, near Liskeard. Running a profitable establishment whilst maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and customer service. Producing and serving good quality home-cooked food from local suppliers where possible. 

SALARY: £8.69 per hour including holiday pay

DURATION: June to October 2016

HOURS: Up to 40 hours per week (including weekends and Bank Holidays)

Wakeboard Staff

CABLE WAKEBOARD/SKI OPERATOR

We are looking for a Cable Ski Operator to work with the Senior Cable Operator/Chief Instructor run an efficient Cable Ski operation ensuring all operators adhere to normal operating procedures and regular maintenance completed reducing down time. Assist in the promotion of the Cable Ski business for hire and tuition; deliver other activity coaching as required. Running the Cable in the absence of the Senior Cable Operator.

SALARY:      Dependent on qualifications and experience

DATES:       April - October 2016

Lakeside Catering Assistants

We require a number of catering assistants at our Lakeside Function Suite to work in the café, carvery and function suite, delivering consistently high standards of customer service, washing dishes, clearing tables and upselling at every opportunity. Assisting with basic food preparation and maintaining standards of hygiene.

0 - 40 hours per week, to include some weekends, bank holidays and evenings

Up to £7.20 per hour

Casual Instructors - all sites

We are currently looking for qualified activity instructors (water and land based activities) at all levels to work the 2016 season, ideally holding 2 or more coaching qualifications in sailing, windsurfing, powerboating, kayaking, paddle boarding, high ropes (ERCA), indoor climbing, archery or mountain biking. Training will be provided in other activities, but previous experience in leading raft building, team building, and orienteering or similar will be an advantage.

Contracts vary from full-time, fixed term and six month contracts to flexible 0 - 40 hours per week. All contracts to include some evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Conservation Volunteers

The Trust's conservation team works closely with a dedicated team of Volunteer Conservation Officers (VCO's) and conservation volunteers. Our VCO's take on a particular site and implement our conservation objectives guided by our Conservation Officers.

We are currently looking to recruit VCO's for Fernworthy Reservoir. If you are able to give approximately seven hours a week (or more) and are interested in taking a more responsible role please have a look at the task description to the right of this page.

Angling and Fishery Volunteer

Required to join the team at Wimbleball Lake to assist with the efficient and smooth running of the Wimbleball fishery.

Applicants should have a thorough understanding and keen interest in fly fishing, good communication skills and a flexible approach to working within a busy team.

Salary: Incentives and discounts as agreed with Centre Manager 

Hours and Dates are to be agreed with Line Manager
