Tamar Lakes are conveniently located just inland from the coastal resort of Bude. The fun, relaxed atmosphere makes it a great location to learn a new sport or hire a range of equipment from pedaloes and rowing boats to windsurfers and dinghies.
Upper Tamar Lake offers fun for all the family, with pedalos, surf skis and Canadian Canoes for hire as well as dinghies and windsurfers. Our Chief Instructor Edd Thorne will be happy to answer all your enquires.

T15 Tamar Tigers junior windsurfing squad
A sandy beach, well-equipped play area and café for refreshments make it an excellent choice for a family day out. Why not extend your stay and camp on site with beautiful views over the lake.
Opening times
The centre is open from 1 April to 30 September. Open from 9am to 5pm.
During off peak times we are closed two days a week. Please call 01288 321712 and the answerphone will have up to date information.
What to bring?
You will require a towel, swimming costume, trainers or wetsuit boots (suitable to get wet in), sunhat or wooly hat, warm jacket, suncream, a drink and a packed lunch (if appropriate). Wetsuits and buoyancy aids are included in tuition prices or you may wish to bring your own.
