Set in the rolling Devon hills on the edge of Dartmoor, Roadford offers more than 700 acres of water and 8 miles of bank; it's an experience not to be missed. Fly fishing only for stocked and wild brown trout. We have a limited number of angling boats, so booking is a must. The wheelyboat should be booked with 48 hours notice.

Traditional fly patterns (Pheasant Tail Nymph, Gold Ribbed Hares Ear), as well as sedge patterns (Invicta) work well. The best sport can often be enjoyed with a dry fly in the evenings. Fish the margins and walk the banks to cover as much water as possible. ‘Catch and release' option available (barbless hooks to be used), otherwise up to 4 fish over 7" may be taken in a day.
