Lakeside, which is licensed for civil ceremonies, offers a very special venue for your special day.

The Burrator and Meldon rooms can be used together to provide extra space for larger parties. The overall capacity of the venue is 120 for a three course sit down meal and 250 for an evening celebration.

Marriages and Civil Partnerships
We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies with the presence of a Superintendent Registrar and a Registrar. Arrangements for ceremonies depend on their availability and fees are paid directly to the Registrar. The local Registrar's Office can be contacted on 0845 1551002.
Extras
With every wedding having different colours and individual taste we leave the decoration arrangements up to you. To arrive in style why not have a red carpet on the entrance steps to the main room ~ make the grand entrance you deserve.
Finish the room with chair covers, custom made white covers either decorated with fabric or left plain adding that bit extra to your room. Additional cost of only £2.00 per cover.

At Lakeside we offer a variety of catering options to suit your requirements. The menu link below provides a range of menus for your wedding breakfast and evening buffets. If the menus included do not offer a specific option that you would like, or if you have a different idea on the style of food you require, then we will tailor to suit your needs. Our menus are freshly prepared on site using local ingredients and homemade produce where possible; in the interest of food safety we do not allow any form of outside catering at Lakeside.
