With over 730 acres of water, Roadford Lake is a spectacular lake set on the edge of Dartmoor between Okehampton and Launceston, very easily accessed from Stowford Cross on the A30, and with ample parking. On the southern bank you will find the Lakeside cafe and Function Suite which includes a Visitor Centre, giving information on the history of the valley, with interactive exhibits. Visitors to this side of the lake can enjoy miles of footpaths and a cycleway which winds its way through a maturing planted forest overlooking the Lake. Or you can take a rowing boat to explore the scenery from a different perspective from the water.

The Lakeside Function Suite overlooking the water caters for large and small conferences, parties, receptions, civil ceremonies, dinner dances and much more. Our manager, Kouki will be happy to meet you and can be contacted on 01566 784859 or lakeside@swlakestrust.org.uk

Across the water is our popular Outdoor + Active Centre offering brown trout angling, sailing, windsurfing, rowing, kayaking and camping. Our instructors are on hand for tuition, self launch and hire, please call the centre for further information or e-mail roadfordwatersports@swlakestrust.org.uk

The Centre here is a magnet for groups and individuals wanting to enjoy the water and learn new skills. Open daily in the summer months 9am-5pm and reduced hours in the winter.
