The Lakeside café and gift shop takes advantage of the stunning views overlooking Roadford Lake. Once inside you can enjoy our delicious range of light lunches, homemade cakes and locally made ice cream in a friendly and relaxed environment.
The café offers something for all ages from the stunning views to the interactive visitors centre or the adjoining childrens play area; as well as the perfect starting point to explore the extensive walks and cycle route of Roadford Lake Country Park. Situated just a few minutes off the A30 between Launceston and Okehampton the café is the ideal place to meet family and friends or to refresh and break the journey when travelling through the counties.
Opening hours
We are currently open daily from 10.30am - 5.00pm
Bacon baps served from 10.30am - 3.00pm
Light lunches and meal served between 12 noon - 3.00pm
From Monday 1 November we will be open daily from 10.30am - 4.00pm
Lakeside will be closed from Saturday 25 December to Sunday 3 January (inclusive).

At Lakeside we pride ourselves on only using high quality produce, sourced locally and homemade where possible. Some of our local suppliers include, Warrens Butchers, Venus Farm, Endacotts Baker, Westlake Orchards, Dunstaple Farm, Bradley's Dairy
Our menu offers a tasty range of light lunches, meals, desserts, homemade cakes, gluten-free alternatives, hot and cold drinks and Dunstaple's Devon ice cream as well daily specials.

In addition to the cafe you will also find a well stocked gift shop offering a variety of gifts to suit all the family including jewellery, handbags, greetings cards, kitchen ware, toys, books and much more. Sunday Carvery
We serve a delicious Sunday Carvery between 12.30 and 2.00pm in the Burrator room. Treat yourself to a relaxed meal with friendly service, whilst enjoying the magnificent view overlooking the lake.
