The café offers something for all ages from the stunning views to the interactive visitors centre or the adjoining childrens play area; as well as the perfect starting point to explore the extensive walks and cycle route of Roadford Lake Country Park. Situated just a few minutes off the A30 between Launceston and Okehampton the café is the ideal place to meet family and friends or to refresh and break the journey when travelling through the counties.

Evening Bistro!

NOW OPEN! Easter to September Lakeside Café is open every Friday and Saturday until late. The evening Bistro features a brand new menu which includes some delicious specials, which you can enjoy whilst watching the sun set over beautiful Roadford Lake!

Lunchtime specials

After a busy day at the Lake why not visit Lakeside Café and enjoy a two course meal from the specials board for only £6.95, available Monday to Friday. Richard Bredin, Head Chef at Lakeside, has recently expanded the lunch menu which offers a delicious range of light lunches, homemade cakes and locally made ice cream as well as both hot and cold beverages, which you can enjoy whilst taking in the magnificent views.

At Lakeside we pride ourselves on only using high quality produce, sourced locally and homemade where possible. Some of our local suppliers include, Warrens Butchers, Orchard Hen Farm, Okemoor, Westlake Orchards, Dunstaple Farm, Trewithen Dairy.

Our menu offers a tasty range of light lunches, meals, desserts, homemade cakes, gluten-free alternatives, hot and cold drinks and Dunstaple's Devon ice cream as well daily specials. 

We serve a delicious Sunday Carvery between 12.30 and 2.00pm in the Burrator room. Treat yourself to a relaxed meal with friendly service, whilst enjoying the magnificent view overlooking the lake.

Christmas at Lakeside

Lakeside at Roadford Lake is a special venue for your Christmas Party, with a stunning setting and ample parking. We can cater for between 10 - 120 guests in a choice of function rooms, with licensed bar.
