Help us protect conservation and leisure now and in the future

South West Lakes Trust works hard to try and balance the demands of conservation, public access and organised recreation on all of its sites whilst trying to ensure that as many sites as possible are accessible to all. If you would like to assist us there are many different ways in which you can support the work of The Trust.

Donations
Your donations are always appreciated by us and could be used to maintain and improve a specific site or nature reserve or you could choose to support a nominated project (click here for more information on the current projects).
To make a donation please call: 01566 771930

Don't forget to Gift Aid your donation
If you are a taxpayer, the value of your gift can be increased by 28% at no cost to you. For every pound you give to South West Lakes Trust, we can claim an extra 25p from the Inland Revenue. If you are a higher-rate taxpayer, you can also claim tax relief on the gifts that you make.

Payroll giving
You can make a regular payment to South West Lakes Trust direct from your salary. Payroll giving is an easy and tax-effective way to donate to South West Lakes Trust. A donation of £5 only costs you £3.92. The Government also tops up payroll giving, and every donation of £5 made through the scheme is worth £5.50 to South West Lakes Trust. Check with your payroll department to find out if your company is part of the Payroll Giving Scheme.

Legacies

If you would like to leave a bequest to South West Lakes Trust your solicitor can assist you in drawing up a will or codicil. If you require any further information please call us on 01566 771930. Charitable legacies are paid before tax is deducted, reducing the total amount of tax paid on the estate

Or why not become a Friend of the Trust an membership scheme.
